NWPCA Announces Board of Directors Leadership and Election Results for 2024-2025

The National Wooden Pallet & Container Association (NWPCA) unveiled its 2024/2025 Board of Directors during the Annual Leadership Conference held from March 20-22, 2024, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

The following individuals were elected and re-elected to the Board of Directors:

Newly elected

• Natalya Calleja, 48forty Solutions
• John Dye, Scott Pallets
• Scott Guttierez, Commercial Lumber & Pallet

Re-elected

• LeRoi Cochran, Relogistics
• Kate Matz, Hartman Independent Company

During the Board Meeting, the following individuals were voted to the NWPCA Executive Committee for the 2024-2025 term:

• Jeff Lewis, Atlanta Pallet & Services – Chair
• Hinton Howell, Hinton Lumber Products – Chair‐Elect
• Nick Wenner, Pallet Service Corp – Past‐Chair
• LeRoi Cochran, Relogistics – Secretary/Treasurer
• Henry Bowman, C&L Wood Products – Director at Large

Expressing his gratitude, Jeff Lewis, the newly appointed Board Chair, shared, “I am deeply honored to serve as NWPCA Chair for the upcoming term. Having served on the Board for over eight years, I have gained valuable insights into the diverse challenges faced by our members. Together, we have navigated these challenges and seized opportunities that have significantly influenced our industry’s trajectory.”

“Jeff Lewis is an exceptional leader in the wood pallet industry, commanding great respect among his peers. His previous roles as Recyclers Council Chair and strong advocacy for our PalletPAC initiatives add a timely dimension to our association’s key priorities for 2024,” added Brent McClendon, president, and CEO of NWPCA.

We are grateful to Nick Wenner, Pallet Service Corporation, for his past leadership in engaging our Board volunteers to advance our mission and strategic plan.

Lewis added, “Eight years ago, NWPCA adopted a strategic plan that prioritized the organization to ‘achieve and sustain worldwide acceptance as the thought and information leader on wood packaging in unit-load solutions.’ Thanks to our current and past Board members and Executive leaders, we have achieved that and plan to chart a course for the next decade this year.”
